Six days of sick
BLEH!
I caught a bug from raking leaves. It made me feel like poo.
Woke up in the morning, and it felt like I had the flu.
Sore throat one day...a hacking cough ensued;
Fatigue set in, I slept and slept, and was a really weak little dude.
But now I'm on the meds, for real - the doc just made it so.
So I'll be good for Christmas day, and that sure works for me, yo!

This is my December
It's Christmas time again in the big A Z.
Crisp mornings, chilly nights, and shorts weather in the daytime.
And crazy out-of-towners behind the wheel and on the roads!
Santa's in the mall (all the malls) takin pics for $.
Bell ringers gettin your pocket change.
With a party every Saturday all month long!
Lights around the cactus, smores around the fire. Crazy deals on gift items for your peeps.
And of course, all the great hoops going on in gyms all across America.
But let us not forget the true meaning and spirit of this time of year...
"And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inns." (Luke 2:7)
"And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him..." (Matt. 2:11)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17)
